Etymology
Compound of 糞 (kuso, “shit, poop, feces”) + 垂れ (tare, “hanging, dangling”, the 連用形 (ren'yōkei, “continuative or stem form”) of verb 垂れる tareru “to hang down, to dangle”).[1][2][3]
