    Borrowed from French -ade, as in promenade; adopted by other languages, as seen in English blockade.

    1. (verbal suffix) -adi notable duration of an action
      lerni (to learn) → ‎lernadi (to study)
    2. (nominal suffix with verbal root) -ado noun of an action
      vivi (to live) → ‎vivado (life)
      eduki (to educate) → ‎edukado (education)
      spiri (to breathe) → ‎spirado (respiration)
      amuzi (to amuse) → ‎amuzado (amusement)
    3. (nominal suffix with nominal root) -ado simple action of the verb without connotation of duration
      krono (a crown) → ‎kronado (a coronation)
