Hebrew

Root
צ־ה־ב (ts-h-b)

Adjective

צהוב / צָהֹב (tsahóv) (feminine צהובה / צְהֻבָּה, masculine plural צהובים / צְהֻבִּים, feminine plural צהובות / צְהֻבּוֹת)

  1. yellow (color)

Usage notes

While the inflected forms would traditionally have been pronounced ts'huba, ts'hubim, and ts'hubot, in modern Israeli Hebrew many speakers colloquially pronounce them as ts'huva, ts'huvim, and ts'huvot.
