Inherited from Old Marathi 𑘑𑘰𑘦 (ghāma), from Lua error in Module:parameters at line 370: Parameter 2 should be a valid language or etymology language code; the value "pmh" is not valid. See WT:LOL and WT:LOL/E., from Sanskrit घर्म (gharmá), from Proto-Indo-Aryan *gʰarmás, from Proto-Indo-Iranian *gʰarmás, from Proto-Indo-European *gʷʰor-mós, from *gʷʰer- (warm, hot). Doublet of गरम (garam). Cognate with Konkani घाम (ghām), Bengali ঘাম (gham), Assamese ঘাম (gham) and Sylheti ꠊꠣꠝ (gámo).
