Garhwali: Edit Request[edit]

Can someone add the script "Deva" to Garhwali (gbm), and the translit module MOD:hi-translit as well? Thanks. —Aryaman (मुझसे बात करो) 23:34, 19 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Mycenaean Greek, Mycenaean[edit]

I think "Mycenaean" alone should be added as an OtherName of gmy/"Mycenaean Greek". --Per utramque cavernam (talk) 13:26, 24 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

grc: combining double breve below[edit]

@Erutuon or anyone else who knows how: please make grc entries strip off the "combining double breve below" (U+035C) when it appears in links. The inflection tables often include this character (e.g. Epic forms of nouns in -ης, e.g. Λαερτιάδης (Laertiádēs)), but of course entry names shouldn't. Thanks! —Mahāgaja · talk 09:26, 25 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Mahagaja: That's strange, it's in the list of diacritics to be stripped (UNDERTIE). I'll see if I can figure out what's going wrong. — Eru·tuon 15:05, 25 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
Oh, duh, it was being stripped from sortkeys but not entry names. Fixed. Thank you for calling my attention to it. — Eru·tuon 15:07, 25 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Erutuon: Since it isn't used in entry names, it doesn't need to be stripped from sortkeys anyway, does it? —Mahāgaja · talk 15:09, 25 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Mahagaja: No, it doesn't; neither do macrons and breves. It doesn't hurt to add them to the other diacritics that actually need to be removed, but I suppose it's better to remove them for clarity. — Eru·tuon 15:20, 25 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Greek family tree[edit]

The Hellenic/Greek family tree, @Erutuon, Mahagaja, at Ancient Greek language has so many things to be corrected... (discussed with Mahagaja here). I cannot edit 'Language data'. At least if dubious relations were erased... Could you help? I'm afraid it looks terrible sarri.greek (talk) 04:33, 25 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

The problem is not with this specific family tree, it's the way the family tree module presents etymology-only languages. I agree it's confusing though. —Mahāgaja · talk 09:48, 25 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
Now it is fixed bu Erutuon! Thank you all! sarri.greek (talk) 02:21, 19 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Guarani edit request[edit]

Could anyone please make Classical Guarani (gn-cls) an ancestor of Paraguayan Guarani (gug)? For some reason it doesn't appear as its ancestor, showing 'gn' (general code for the macrolanguage that is Guarani) as its ancestor instead. Once this is done I'll finally be able to start adding thousands of lemmas! Thanks! ~𝔪𝔢𝔪𝔬 (talk) 16:57, 13 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Guillermo2149 Would it make more sense to create a subfamily for Guarani, and to make Classical Guarani the proto-language of that family? That way, we could easily cover any other relevant Guarani languages as well. Theknightwho (talk) 05:19, 14 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Theknightwho Yes. Absolutely. That would be the most accurate option! Thanks! ~𝔪𝔢𝔪𝔬 (talk) 13:34, 14 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Theknightwho Don't forget my request please. Thanks! ^^ ~𝔪𝔢𝔪𝔬 (talk) 20:08, 6 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
