--The Etymology, IPA and declension are already OK at the greek page el:χείμαρρος. I have not logged in el.wikt yet. Is there a cooperation with the mother-lang page? All the work is done there.
--Unfortunately, the translation of the word is not creek, brook, stream (: Wikipedia.gre links χείμαρρο to Wikipedia.eng. arroyo and to Wikipedia.spa. torrente.
--A χείμαρρος is a river (small or bigger, size is not an issue) with two characteristics: it is seasonal (it is dry in summer, hence there is no such thing in England, or in English lang). Secondly (not mentioned in Wikipedia.gre) when it flows, it usually does so in a very forceful and sudden manner. It may wash out everything in its path.

@Sarri.greek: γεια σας. Δεν νομίζω πως έχει καμία συστηματική συνεργασία με την ελληνική εκδοχή, αλλά μπορούμε να πάρουμε οτιδήποτε θέλουμε. Τι νομίζετε για τη νέα μετάφραση "torrent"; Αν και δεν είναι τέλεια ακόμα, καλύτερη δεν είναι; Πρέπει όμως να ρωτήσουμε έναν αγγλόφωνο· ίσως υπάρχει τέτοια λέξη στα αγγλικά. Για τον ορισμό του {{R:DSMG}} έτσι τον καταλαβαίνω· "an impetuous stream formed by the rains and the snows that are melting". Someone would want to read and help. We DO NEED an Anglophone by birth, to do the translations or proofread. I do not feel comfortable translating gre→eng, as I am with eng→gre.
--subject: Coordination of wiktionary pages of different languages. Maybe we'll discuss it elsewhere. Why should people work on the same thing in so many versions? the ETYMO, Declension, etc. are identical whatever the language of a page is. I always refer to the mother-language page. Not that it is guaranteed by Wiktionary.

--2) your trans. of the DSMG entry is magnifique, but the entry itself, come to think of it, is not so great: all rivers are formed 'by rain and melting snow'. What he means here is that it is ABRUPT. You don't expect it.
