I am not a slang expert, but does this interjection genuinely exist? I cannot imagine how ржёт (ržot) can function as an interjection. Guldrelokk (talk) 21:08, 12 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

I think this may have passed already. A few years ago, some Russians were looking for a popular way to say LOL or ROFL in Russian, and ржёт was being used by some. Not much any more, if at all. Today it seems that ржунимагу, паццталом, лол are the choices. —Stephen (Talk) 04:18, 18 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
Confirmed. I am not too keen to keep these entries, though. You can get all sorts of ungrammatical eye dialect forms in the Russian speaking forums. Examples of Internet slang Stephen used above are:
ржунимагу́ (ržunimagú) = is an eye dialect of ржу не могу́ (ržu ne mogú, I'm laughing, can't (hold myself))
паццтало́м (pacctalóm) = is an eye dialect of под столо́м (pod stolóm, under the table (from laughing hysterically)))
лол (lol) = transliteration of the English LOL.
ржать (ržatʹ) is slang/rude word for "to laugh", especially loudly or impolitely, originally "to neigh" (of horses). ржёт (ržot) is used as if describing own laughing in a third person - "(he/she) is laughing (out loud)". --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 23:28, 24 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Stephen G. Brown, Atitarev: If it is just ‘describing own laughing in a third person’, cannot anything be said in such way? Guldrelokk (talk) 06:17, 25 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Guldrelokk:: As I said, I'm not too keen on keeping the entry. The usage is real, though. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 06:41, 25 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
