@Stephen G. Brown Привет, Стивен. Почему у ราช два произношения? Это традиционное произношение? В лаосском окончание пишется длиннее: ລາຊະ. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 01:42, 21 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Привет, Анатолий. У некоторых тайских слов два произношения: произношение на основе правил и произношение популярное. В случае ราช, это транслитерируется как rāt, но это слово часто произносится с удвоением, и последняя буква редуплицируется (ราช-ช = rāt-cha). —Stephen (Talk) 10:40, 21 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Wyang, Iudexvivorum

Hi Frank. Is it possible to improve the Thai modules to transliterate using phonetic respellings or force transliterations in some instances? It would also be good to allow phonetic respellings or manual transliterations, if some words are undefined (redlinked).

For example, ราชโองการ‎ should be phonetically respelled as "ราด-ชะ โอง-กาน" (râat-chá oong-gaan), not "ราด-โอง-กาน" (râat oong-gaan), as the bound form requires. Please see the current usage examples for required transliterations.

@Iudexvivorum. I'd prefer the template to be fixed, if possible, than continue using manual transliterations. I hope Wyang (Frank) can fix it. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 08:37, 13 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Yes, Anatoli. {{th-usex}}: "Alternatively you could specify the phonetic Thai spelling for a particular word by putting {PHONETIC} after the word." Wyang (talk) 20:54, 13 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
@Wyang Thank you, Frank. I see it was already there. I missed it, sorry.
@Iudexvivorum I've changed it back to use {{th-usex}} (th-x is a shortcut) for the adjective sense.
  1. ราชโองการ
    râat-chá oong-gaan
    Royal command.
    ราชวงศ์
    râat-chá wong
    Royal family.
    ราชรถ
    râat-chá rót
    Royal chariot.
@YURi Please consider using the template as well. You can add the phonetics for the noun sense as well. The phonetic respelling can be used for undefined (redlinked) terms as well:
  1. สังฆราช
    sǎng-ká râat
    High priest.
    (literally) Chief of monastic order.
