Are there actual English uses for this "Tibetan name" for Mount Everest? DCDuring (talk) 14:51, 22 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

All the dozen or so alternative forms except Chu-mu-lang-ma do not have all the cites needed. DCDuring (talk) 14:57, 22 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

This word and the word below are in my regular rotation of words to work on cites for. In the set of 'Everest' synonyms, I had been focusing on Chu-mu-lang-ma and Mount Everest so far (because the Wade-Giles derived words are despised and ignored by the Chinese Studies community and are most in danger of deletion without warning if they are left uncited) and I hadn't yet gotten around to these Tibetan derived words yet. My plan is to do some clean up on what Kiwima has done at some point and probably add some cites. In my mind, Qomolangma [1] and Chomolungma [2] are both obviously citable. --Geographyinitiative (talk) 00:57, 23 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
They could all use cites. DCDuring (talk) 00:36, 24 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
