Rfv-sense: #9, "something that is evil but is supposed to be good". --Florian Blaschke (talk) 07:58, 29 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

I imagine the intended sense is something like sense 7 ("The act of changing, or of being changed, for the worse; departure from what is pure, simple, or correct"), but emphasising the result or product rather than the process. Equinox 18:44, 29 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
I think I have cited this, but would appreciate a second pair of eyes to look over what I have added. Kiwima (talk) 21:55, 29 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
The wording of the definition is awful, written for a middle-school student. I think it is supposed to have the same relationship to sense 1 as sense 3 has to sense 2. It refers to the product of the process of corruption, more less as Equinox says, I think. DCDuring (talk) 00:00, 30 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
BTW, why is only "the seeking of bribes" corruption, but not the offering, giving, or acceptance of them? DCDuring (talk) 00:00, 30 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
