I think the translations of the past tense are setting a bad precedent here, with reams of verbs in the imperfect and past historic. My feeling is that these translations belong in the foreign-language dictionaries, linked as follows:

- The above are three different entries in Wiktionary. I agree mostly. Although the problem is mostly for past tenses. Past participles do translate ok/unambiguously most of the time.Polyglot 10:44, 17 Dec 2003 (UTC)
