- I see some uses as an interjection ([1], [2]), but these are instances of code-switching with Pennsylvania Dutch. --Lambiam 22:09, 21 July 2020 (UTC)

- I think it is used by English speakers who are not German speakers. They may have picked it up from a German-speaking older relative or from a book, movie, or TV show. Such use would be hard to attest. In any event, a Wiktionary user would find the entry for the German word. I note that having separate pages for words in each language would make it harder for such a user to find something useful. DCDuring (talk) 22:10, 7 September 2020 (UTC)
