- Alternative spelling of Thổ Nhĩ Kì.: Turkey (a country located in Thrace in southeastern Europe and Anatolia in southwestern Asia)
Usage notes[edit]
This spelling is much more common than Thổ Nhĩ Kì despite overall spelling reforms by the Vietnam Ministry of Education. Thổ Nhĩ Kỳ is preferred by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of both Vietnam and Turkey.[1][2]
