CJKV article editing and 𪳤

[edit]

Hi Dingo1234555 and welcome to Wiktionary! I noticed your creation of the 𪳤 page. 𪳤 is a character in Extension C, which mostly include archaic and ancient or uncommon variant characters. As Wiktionary already has a ton of single-character CJKV articles needing formatting work, definitions, etc., we'd appreciate it if you not create new articles for characters in Extensions A, B, C, D or E without citable definition information. Thanks! Bumm13 (talk) 09:34, 30 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Eh, I don't see the harm in it?? —suzukaze (tc) 09:41, 30 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
On second thought, just ignore my last comment. I can see that you've been making good edits and we need all the help here we can get. If you have any CJKV-related questions, feel free to ask! =^) Bumm13 (talk) 09:24, 31 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
I usually made the 𬇐 page because it's a kokuji for electricity in Japanese. Feel free top expanded them. Dingo1234555 (talk) 17:02, 1 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

𪰐

[edit]

Hello. Are you sure 𪰐, when used as an abbreviation for Japan, is used in Chinese and pronounced as bèn? If not, it should be put under a different pronunciation or even under a different language. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 04:47, 28 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Huh?

What was this? Chuck Entz (talk) 08:46, 28 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

This was the source of the kanji's meaning. Dingo1234555 (talk) 04:49, 1 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • For future reference, Tangorin is not the most reliable of sources. Nor, sadly, is KANJIDIC. The "meaning" they give is more of a mnemonic device to remember the character -- the actual meaning is value. This is an uncommon variant form of (kun'yomi of atai, on'yomi of ke or kai). ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │Tala við mig 22:48, 8 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

劳动

[edit]

Just letting you know I reverted your edit here; 勞働 is only used in Japanese. ---> Tooironic (talk) 02:10, 23 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

ja-readings

[edit]

Hello! If you can, could you follow the third bullet at Template:ja-readings/documentation#Format? Like this, for example. Thanks! —suzukaze (tc) 01:51, 11 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Also, if you're not sure, leaving the hyphen out is better than adding it in the wrong place. —suzukaze (tc) 08:08, 30 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
