Wiktionary standard transliteration of Abkhaz. It follows Gippert, J.: Caucasian Alphabet Systems Based Upon the Cyrillic Script. (TITUS) (http://titus.uni-frankfurt.de/didact/caucasus/kaukschr.pdf), with the exception of the letters и and у, which are always transliterated as i and u and not as i/y and u/w depending on the context. The letters found only in Russian loanwords follow the scholarly transliteration for Russian.
