Etymology

From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Latin carcinōma (a cancerous ulcer), from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Ancient Greek καρκίνωμα (karkínōma), from καρκίνος (karkínos); equivalent to carcino- + -oma. Compare cancer.
