[edit]Etymology
[edit]Present in the early authors such as Buzuku and Bogdani with a starting s- (Të sillë doni ju e t u lëshonj...? - Whom do you want me to release to you?). It represents a nominative form of cilë, from cilnë via ln:l assimilation, itself a generalized accusative form of archaic cillë, sillë. The leading c- is a derivation of të s-. Ultimately from the particle and adverb si.[1]
