Etymology

Borrowed from Latin mygalē (field mouse), from Ancient Greek μυγαλῆ (mugalê).

Noun

mygale (plural mygales)

  1. Any of the former genus Lua error in Module:parameters at line 806: Parameter "noshow" is not used by this template. of large, hairy trapdoor spiders with four lungs and four spinnerets, now distributed in Mygalomorphae.
