From Lua error in Module:etymology at line 170: Old Occitan (pro) is not set as an ancestor of Catalan (ca) in Module:languages/data/2. The ancestor of Catalan is Old Catalan (roa-oca). (compare Occitan nàisser), from Vulgar Latin *nascĕre[1] (compare French naître, Spanish nacer), from Latin nāscor, nāscī, from earlier gnāscor, from Proto-Italic *gnāskōr, from Proto-Indo-European *ǵenh₁-.
