nyugat
Hungarian
Etymology
- From the second part of the compound word napnyugat. [1]
- From the same, now archaic Hungarian verb nyug (“to keep quiet”), the same word from which nyugszik and nyugodt derive from. This in turn derives from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Lua error in Module:parameters at line 95: Parameter 1 should be a valid language code; the value "fiu-pro" is not valid. See WT:LOL. *ńuŋV (“to rest”).[2]
