Borrowed from Latin Pantheon, itself borrowed from Ancient Greek Πάνθειον (Pántheion, a temple of all gods), neuter of πάνθειος (pántheios, of or common to all gods), from πᾶν (pân, all, everything) +‎ θείος (theíos, of or for the gods), from θεός (theós, god).
