pinkroot (usually uncountable, plural pinkroots)

  1. A perennial North American herb (Lua error in Module:parameters at line 780: Parameter "noshow" is not used by this template.), sometimes cultivated for its showy red blossoms.
  2. An annual South American and West Indian plant (Lua error in Module:parameters at line 780: Parameter "noshow" is not used by this template.).
  3. The root of Spigelia marilandica or Spigelia anthelmia, used as a powerful vermifuge.
