  1. (sometimes intransitively with upp) to remove (natural) obstacles, to clear
    De röjde mark för huset som skulle byggas
    They cleared land for the house that was to be built
  2. to (accidentally) reveal (secret) information, to betray
    Han röjde min hemlighet
    He betrayed my secret
    Jag råkade röja basens position
    I accidentally revealed the location of the base
  3. (colloquial) to party hard or engage in other intense (and possibly violent) activity
