Etymology
[edit]According to The Encyclopedia of Virtual Communities in Hong Kong, the idiom comes from Mr. Peanut's slogan, initially intented to promote peanuts as a side dish when watching movies.[1] The slang later used in HKGolden and spread to the other forums. Compared to get the popcorn.
