1. (conditional suffix) Forms the second-person plural present tense of verbs (conditional mood, indefinite and definite conjugation).

   ‎olvas (“to read”) + ‎-nátok → ‎olvasnátok (“you would read”)

  -nátok is added to most back vowel verbs

  ‎vár (“to wait”) + ‎-nátok → ‎várnátok (“you would wait”)

  -nétek is added to most front vowel verbs

  ‎kér (“to ask”) + ‎-nétek → ‎kérnétek (“you would ask”)

  -anátok is added to back vowel verbs ending in two consonants or in a long vowel + t (exceptions: áll, száll, varr, forr, lát)

  ‎mond (“to say something”) + ‎-anátok → ‎mondanátok (“you would say something”)

  ‎tanít (“to teach”) + ‎-anátok → ‎tanítanátok (“you would teach”)

  -enétek is added to front vowel verbs ending in two consonants or in a long vowel + t

  ‎fest (“to paint”) + ‎-enétek → ‎festenétek (“you would paint”)

  ‎segít (“to help”) + ‎-enétek → ‎segítenétek (“you would help”)
