Is it not like English smelting furnace, where furnace is the actual term and smelting just serves to disambiguate outside the context of smelting? --WikiTiki89 19:04, 2 November 2012 (UTC)

Delete. There are many words with more common multi-word synonyms. I’d find it better to add * [[horno]] [[de]] [[fundición]] {{qualifier|more common}} as a synonym. — Ungoliant ^(Falai) 20:06, 2 November 2012 (UTC)

It practically translates to "smelting oven" given the simplicity of the word horno. It also happens to be what you call such a furnace. And it's not just an oven made out of iron and carbon alloy. I don't think any of these arguments are strong enough justification for keeping, but I have a hard time accepting its removal as an appropriate course of action.
