Usage notes
[edit]The older usage was with a genitive noun in all cases. Later, the noun's case corresponded with the numeral's one except for the nominative/accusative where it still was in the genitive and the numeral instrumental ended in -i like other cases as it is in today's Czech.
- šest ľudí ― six people
- s šesťú ľudí (later s šesti ľudmi) ― with six people
