Etymology

From Hellenistic Koine Greek διαβεβαιῶ (diabebaiô), contracted form of διαβεβαιόω (diabebaióō). Synchronically analysable as δια- (dia-, through) +‎ βεβαιώνω (vevaióno, to make sure).

Pronunciation

  • Lua error in Module:parameter_utilities at line 748: Item 2 in the list of numeric parameters cannot be empty, because the list must be contiguous.
  • Hyphenation: δι‧α‧βε‧βαι‧ώ‧νω
