Etymology[edit]

Inherited from Old Ruthenian выливатисѧ (vylivatisja).[1][2] By surface analysis, вилива́ти (vylyváty) +‎ -ся (-sja). Compare Russian вылива́ться (vylivátʹsja), Belarusian выліва́цца (vylivácca), Polish wylewać się.
