Cognate with Modern Khmer សត្វ (sat), សត្ត (sɑttɑɑ); Lao ສັດ (sat); Northern Thai ᩈᩢᨲ᩠ᩅ᩺; ᦶᦉᧆ (ṡaed); Shan သတ်ႉတဝႃႇ (sâ̰t tǎ wàa); Burmese သတ္တဝါ (satta.wa).
