Fámù zhēngzhēng, niǎo míng yīngyīng. Chū zì yōugǔ, qiānqiáo mù. [Pinyin]
On the trees go the blows zheng-zheng;
And the birds cry out ying-ying.
One issues from the dark valley,
And removes to the lofty tree.
