Etymology[edit]
From 康巴諾爾/康巴诺尔 (Kāngbā Nuò'ěr), the name of a lake in the county's south, which is in turn from Mongolian [script needed] (kang-ba, “beautiful”) + ᠨᠠᠭᠤᠷ (naɣur, “lake”).
