Etymology
[edit]From 瓶 (bin, “bottle”) + 詰め (tsume, 連用形 (ren'yōkei, “stem or continuative form”) of the verb 詰める (tsumeru, “to stuff”).). The tsume changes to zume as an instance of rendaku (連濁).
