First attested in the Yongbi eocheon'ga (龍飛御天歌 / 용비어천가), 1447, as Middle Korean 닞다〮 (Yale: nìc-tá).

  • (forget): This is the more formal form for the word, "forget". 잊어버리다 (ijeobeorida) is more polite, and 까먹다 (kkameokda) is the colloquial and casual form.
