- Weak keep. Braille is not a "script" in the same sense that Cyrillic is. It's an output target for encoding schemes (like binary, or "written characters"). We can encode all our usual scripts using Braille. But that distinction may not merit a different category structure. I'm not sure. --Bequw → τ 05:57, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
- Braille characters don't have names of their own, but they also don't quite map 1-to-1 to Latin characters. I also don't know whether it can be used for other scripts/languages. Does it have lower/uppercase letters, punctuation, and so on? It's sort of unique in its own right, really... not a script, not quite an encoding. It seems like a combination of a transliteration scheme and a script. I'd say keep until we can come up with a better idea. —CodeCat 21:35, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
- Note that there's, for example, Phags-pa too, which was simply created to write five languages using the same script. Still, it should use the standard category system like a normal script, and I think Braille should too (it has an ISO code after all). -- Prince Kassad 19:34, 23 July 2010 (UTC)

Unused, redundant to Category:Braille script characters. Created by Mglovesfun (talk • contribs), passed an RfD raised by Yair rand (talk • contribs) because of no consensus.
