Noun: "The title for someone who is an academic." Does this mean we can say e.g. "Academic Jones will attend the conference"? I've never seen it. And the adjective gives no context/explanation for the capital A, yet I'm sure e.g. "your Academic performance is poor" is not acceptable capitalisation. Equinox 13:24, 11 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
