Each sense is entirely dependent on a single cite. Neither sense appears to get any hits on Google Books, although other senses do. Astral (talk) 02:16, 20 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Here's one more, meaning a ticket for sex with a woman: [1]. But again, only one citation. --BB12 (talk) 03:45, 20 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

The cite for the first sense isn't durably archived and the second is at best arguably so.--Prosfilaes (talk) 02:21, 21 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

I think we should keep, at least the fist sense, well and truly attested. Actarus (Prince d'Euphor) 10:36, 8 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
There's still not a single durably archived cite for the first one, and only two all-together.--Prosfilaes (talk) 21:31, 8 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
@Actarus, evidence instead of discussion please. Mglovesfun (talk) 21:33, 8 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
I've added an example that shows that the first sense is used, unquestionably. Actarus (Prince d'Euphor) 18:56, 9 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
I dispute all of that, it's a mention not a use, and I don't think it would meet WT:CFI's attestation criteria. Also it's not 'unquestionably' used, we're questioning it, and nobody's been able to shown it is used. Mglovesfun (talk) 19:11, 9 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
Well, you may dispute, if you want, but now, let me ask you a question: how is it that a man wonders whether Pussy Pass is "an offensive delusion or an accurate term"? What sense would such question make if the expression wasn't used? Tell me...
Now, take a look at this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAtoCRasD-A, entitled A True Example Of Pussy-Pass Justice, News reporter Is Overjoyed (TooLateToSave)), please read carefully the initial message (10 seconds), and tell me again that "pussy pass" is not used and doesn't match our first definition...

Actarus, just so you know, all the arguments in the world won't work as we go by evidence here rather than by voting. You're clearly not familiar with WT:CFI. You can argue till you're blue in the face, it won't change anything. Mglovesfun (talk) 09:29, 14 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
RFV-failed. None of the citations provided are durable. - -sche (discuss) 23:09, 14 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

"Derogatory"

[edit]

I removed this label because it makes no sense. Who is it derogatory towards? In what way? The term simply implies a privilege. Prinsgezinde (talk) 21:31, 9 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Restored. Calling women "pussy" or "cunts" etc. is derogatory. Equinox 21:49, 9 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
Compare e.g. fag marriage, which deliberately incorporates an offensive word for gay people. Equinox 21:50, 9 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
COMPLETELY different. For one, fag is a slur, so of course this would be derogatory. Secondly, it's literally just "gay marriage" but with "fag" instead of "gay", obviously with the sole intention of being offensive. With this word, you seem to misunderstand the meaning. The "pussy" doesn't refer a woman, as you claim. It refers to the fact that they have a pussy, which is quite uncontroversial. It's saying that them having a pussy gives them a pass. Crude? Yes. Vulgar? Yes. Offensive? Eh, maybe to some. Derogatory? No, that makes no sense. It's not belittling anyone. Or are dick move, cockblock, dick around and dick-measuring contest also derogatory?
Where is your evidence? Calling a woman a pussy is a slur. She is a pussy so she gets a pass. Take to WT:TR, do not revertt war. Equinox 00:42, 13 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
Even if it did refer to the woman, reducing a person to their genitals is hardly flattering. Can you find any use online where the term is used in a flattering way? Even one? Equinox 00:45, 13 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
Beyond that this is a loaded term. It's framing the concept from a specifically masculinist/anti-feminist perspective that opposes the common sociopolitical framework of women as an oppressed class. So the difference between estate tax vs. death tax, or abortion clinic vs. abortuary. The derogatory label is appropriate. WordyAndNerdy (talk) 18:23, 14 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Sure! Let's be consistent then. Prinsgezinde (talk) 00:50, 16 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
