Rfv-sense: One of three children born at the same birth; a triplet. - only in dictionaries? Notusbutthem (talk) 09:19, 30 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

OED cites Worcester, who cites the Foreign Quarterly Review, which includes the term in a quotation concerning Swedish birth statistics from "Anteckningar" by one "Col. Forsell". It's surely not a coincidence that trilling is the Swedish word for "triplet".
I can't find the claimed Wright quote. In fact I can't find anything at all besides endless bird noises, singing ladies, and scannos for "trifling". This, that and the other (talk) 09:24, 3 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
