@Erutuon, Ungoliant MMDCCLXIV: I have a problem at -ιά (-iá): I'd like to convert the two usexes of #10 to this template, but simultaneous composition and suffixation is unsupported.

{{suffixusex|el|πρώτος|χρόνος|Πρωτοχρονιά|t1=first|t2=year|t3=New Year's Day}} won't work. Would you have a solution? --Per utramque cavernam (talk) 11:28, 19 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Per utramque cavernam, try
{{suffixusex|el|πρώτος χρόνος|Πρωτοχρονιά|t1=first year|t2=New Year's Day}}
or
{{l|el|πρώτος|t=first}} {{suffixusex|el|χρόνος|Πρωτοχρονιά|t1=year|t2=New Year's Day}}

@Per utramque cavernam: For this word, I think the composition might be πρώτος (prótos) + χρονιά (chroniá), but as there are other examples like ἀ- (a-) + ληθ- (lēth-) + -ης (-ēs), multiple morphemes before the suffix should be allowed. It would be easiest to implement with Lua, though. — Eru·tuon 20:27, 19 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Erutuon: About Πρωτοχρονιά: our entry agrees with you, but {{R:DSMG}} does not. It says this word was built on the model of πρωτομηνιά (protominiá), which is definitely πρώτος + μήνας + -ιά, as there is no **μηνιά. That's not necessarily a definitive proof, though.
About multiple morphemes: that's why I favour {{affix}} over {{prefix}} or {{suffix}}, it's more flexible. Maybe the time for an {{affixusex}} has come? --Per utramque cavernam (talk) 20:50, 19 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Per utramque cavernam, Erutuon, Ungoliant MMDCCLXIV I have implemented {{affixusex}} (short form {{afex}}), with greatly expanded functionality, and correspondingly expanded {{suffixusex}} (short form {{sufex}}) and {{prefixusex}} (short form {{prefex}}). @Benwing2: Thank you. That is excellent. — Eru·tuon 20:55, 19 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
