Usage notes
[edit]Indonesian clearly distinguishes the names for the sovereign state of East Timor or Timor-Leste (Timor Leste) and the former Indonesian province of East Timor, the latter is known as Timor Timur. Unlike English, these terms are not interchangeable in Indonesian.
