We don't usually include company names like Huawei. Please don't create them unless they have become everyday English words like "kleenex" and "hoover". Equinox 07:32, 29 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Edit at 神#Japanese

[edit]

Hello, I've just reverted your addition of なりたい to the =====Derived terms===== section at 神#Japanese for the kami reading. なりたい is a non-lexical phrase, consisting of (kami, god, spirit, deity) + (ni, directional particle) + なりたい (naritai, desiderative form of なる (naru, to become)). Since the meaning is fully understandable from its constituent pieces, this phrase is considered to be a non-idiomatic "sum of parts" ("SOP"), and thus is not something we create entries for. Please also see WT:SOP for more details.

Edit at кошмар#Kazakh

[edit]

I am writing to remind you that кошмар is not a Kazakh word, and no usage examples are found in Kazakh text. I deleted the entry once before but I wonder why you added it back. Besides, the appropriate Kazakh translation of the term ‘nightmare’ should be жаман түс (literally ‘bad dream’). Vtgnoq7238rmqco (talk) 14:08, 3 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Latin transliteration of Kazakh

[edit]

I appreciated that you added the Latin transliteration of Kazakh, and yet I have to remind you that the standard of Latin alphabet has changed multiple times these years. I suggest using the latest version issued by Kazakhstan government. On the other hand, the default transliteration (the one in brackets in the first row) is still the Kazinform version which is different from the latest one. I am not sure if there will be more changes of the Latin transliteration before the deadline of the transition. Perhaps a bot could be utilise to tackle the change. Your Arabic vocalisation and transliteration of the collocation at [[pedophilia]] was unsuccessful. I can tell you don't know what you're doing, so don't! Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 22:57, 7 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Latin antiheros

[edit]

Are you sure that "contrahērōs" is something? Have you read this anywhere? Because to me as a latinist this seems off. Imbricitor (talk) 00:37, 18 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
