[edit]Inherited from Ottoman Turkish قویمق (koymak), from Inherited from Old Anatolian Turkish قویمق (qoymaq), from Proto-Turkic *kod-, a derivation from Proto-Turkic *ko-. Compare Azerbaijani qoymaq, Gagauz koymaa.
