taju
See also: tajū
Finnish
Etymology
From *taje- + -u. Karelian taju and Estonian taju are borrowings from Finnish.
The root may further come from Proto-Uralic *taje- (compare Komi-Zyrian [script needed] (tujn-), Mansi, Tundra Nenets [script needed] (tujo-)), but the proposal has phonological issues.
