Etymology

The suffix is a reminiscent of πύελος (púelos) and σκόπελος (skópelos), but the variant in "-λλ-" proves that this word is Lua error in Module:parameters at line 290: Parameter 2 should be a valid language, etymology language or family code; the value "pregrc" is not valid. See WT:LOL, WT:LOL/E and WT:LOF.. Furnée further compares φάσκωλος (pháskōlos, leathern bag) and βάσκιοι (báskioi). Solmsen hesitatingly compared σφάκελος (sphákelos, spasm, gangrene), suggesting a common meaning "drawn together, tied together". Cognate to Albanian bashkë (together).[1]
