[edit]Recorded in Astrakhan and among Greben Cossacks. Discernably, a transferred meaning of Kalmyk лох (lox, “aloe vera”), which relates through the Kalmyk home in Dzungaria to Chinese 蘆薈/芦荟 (lúhuì, “aloe vera”), see it for more.
