From Old Marathi 𑘢𑘳𑘭𑘜𑘹 (pusaṇe), from Sanskrit स्पृशति (spṛśati, to touch).

Verb

पुसणे (pusṇe) (transitive)

  1. to wipe, cleanse by rubbing
    दुकानात फरशी रोज पुसायला पाहिजे.
    dukānāt pharśī roj pusāylā pāhije.
    The store's floor should be wiped every day.
    (literally, “In the store the floor should be wiped every day.”)
  2. to wipe out, obliterate, destroy, efface
    Synonym: पुसून टाकणे (pusūn ṭākṇe)

From Old Marathi 𑘢𑘳𑘭𑘜𑘹 (pusaṇe), from Lua error in Module:parameters at line 290: Parameter 2 should be a valid language or etymology language code; the value "pmh" is not valid.     Nobody asks him.
