[edit]Literally “Romanization style by order of the superiors”, i.e. the 内閣 (naikaku, “Cabinet of Japan”).

- a Romanization method of Japanese, combining the 標準式 (hyōjun-shiki) and 日本式 (Nihon-shiki) styles, that was adopted in 1937 by Cabinet order and slightly modified in 1954
- Synonym: 訓令式 (kunrei-shiki)
