踏 is a daiyōji replacing 蹈.

to travel through a long or difficult route; to go on an expedition
私(わたし)たちは無(ぶ)事(じ)に雪(ゆき)山(やま)を踏(とう)破(は)した。
Watashitachi wa buji ni yukiyama o tōha shita.
We successfully travelled through the snowy mountain.
