Borrowing from Chinese 魑魅魍魎魑魅魍魉 (chīmèi wǎngliǎng), equivalent to 魑魅(ちみ) (chimi, mountain and forest monsters) + 魍魎(もうりょう) (mōryō, mountain, stream, and tree spirits).
