  1. A de facto state in East Asia, commonly known as Taiwan.
  2. A government of the state of China, which only controls the Taiwan Area.
  3. A former state in East Asia, which claimed China-proper, Taiwan, the whole of Mongolia (including Outer Mongolia), Tibet and the whole of Manchuria (including Outer Manchuria), with two successor states, the People's Republic of China and Taiwan.
